About the Sunflower Run
The Sunflower Run is an annual 7.5 kilometre event to remember Emily and raise money for Emilyβs Garden Foundation. This year, there are two ways to take part. After the success of last yearβs virtual event; you can run, walk or cycle wherever you are in the world between the 6th July and 15th July. Or, if you are in The Netherlands, you can join the in-person Sunflower Run at Vlietland in Voorschoten on Sunday 7th July at 3pm. Please sign up and join us at Vlietland or wherever you are in the world.

Information about The In-Person Sunflower Run
We have permission from the owner of Vlietland and the Leidschendam -Voorburg Gemeente to hold the Sunflower Run. We have made a risk assessment for the event.
The run/walk is a 7.5 km loop around the Vlietland lake in Voorschoten. We will meet at the Gele Lis parking lot at Vlietland at 3pm. Please see map below.
When you arrive, please go to the registration table.
Bring your own water bottle. There will be a water stop half way round the run and water at the start/finish.
The runners will start in small groups.
Time your own run if you want to take part in our fastest run competition.
If you have small children with you, please stay with them at all times.
